Our Founder
Eunice Naffie Mustapha Esq. holds a JD equivalent degree (LL.B Hons.) with distinction from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, a degree of Utter Barrister from the Sierra Leone Law School, a Certificate in International Human Rights Law, and an LL.M in National and Global Health Law with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center.
At age 21, she started an online campaign for girls’ evolution in January 2019 to inspire young Sierra Leoneans to become outstanding female leaders. In April 2019, the first safe space initiative, An Ideal Strong Girl Edutainment Night, was implemented for young women, adolescent girls and allies. This event comprised personal development talks, cultural displays, entertainment, and an entrepreneurial showcase.
For five years, Strong Girls Evolution has consistently made magic happen with and for young females in Sierra Leone. As a Lawyer, Storyteller, and Social Activist interested in legal and policy practice, Eunice has continuously led the team in implementing authentic community-centered initiatives on gender equity and equality.
Wuya Sao Kallon
Advisory Board
Board Member: Wuya Sao Kallon is an Accountant who joined Strong Girls Evolution’s Advisory Board in 2023. She holds a BSc. Hons in Applied Accounting from the Institute of Public Administration and Management. Wuya has a wealth of experience, having worked in diverse disciplines, from entrepreneurship to freelance writing, women’s empowerment, and transitional justice.
In addition to serving as CEO of Delores Ltd, an online shoe shop, Wuya is the Acting Manager and Finance Officer at the Center for Memory and Reparations. This organization facilitates remembrance and collective narratives about the Sierra Leonean civil war.

Executive Director: Eunice Naffie Mustapha Esq. has led Strong Girls Evolution for five years. She is a passionate and dynamic leader with 9 years of expertise in program development and policy advocacy. She is analytical and detail-oriented with a rich history of spearheading public interest projects in Sierra Leone by leveraging storytelling, law, and policy analysis to address societal vices, introducing authentic community-centered initiatives, and developing and implementing strategies and policies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Teijeh Gullah Syia Kahunla Esq
Deputy Executive Director
Teijeh Gullah Syia Kahunla Esq. is a Lawyer who has worked with Strong Girls Evolution for five years and became its Deputy Executive Director in 2023. She is a distinguished Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone, committed to advancing gender equality and youth empowerment. As the Deputy Executive Director of Strong Girls Evolution, she leverages her legal expertise to advocate for the rights of adolescent girls and young women, ensuring they have access to safe spaces, education, and leadership opportunities. Her dedication to social justice and community development makes her an invaluable asset to the organization.
Yvonne Edith Greene, Esq
Operations and Human Resource Director
Yvonne Edith Greene, Esq., a Lawyer who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024. She is a hardworking Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone that stands firmly for what is right and in a world that wants to whisper she has chosen to scream. She has over the years gained sufficient working experience through drafting of legal documents, legal research, legal representation, and giving legal advice. With her acquired legal skills, she promotes gender equality, fights against discrimination based on sex and raises public awareness about gender focused issues.
Alitta Lovetta Conteh Esq.
Communications Team Lead
Alitta Lovetta Conteh Esq. is a Lawyer who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2021. She has dedicated her career to advocating for justice and equality. With a passion for women’s and girls’ rights, she has become a prominent figure in the fight against gender-based discrimination and violence. As an advocate for women’s and girls’ rights, she actively collaborates with various organizations and initiatives to empower and uplift marginalized communities. Through her multifaceted approach, Alitta strives to create a society where women and girls can thrive without fear of discrimination or violence.
Cecilia Alice Sesay
Communications Coordinator
Cecilia Alice Sesay is a Journalist who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024. She is an Award-Winning Broadcast Journalist at the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation TV & Radio Station, where she is a presenter, reporter, and anchor. She holds a first-class Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Mass Communications from Fourah Bay College University of Sierra Leone. Alice is a Founding Member and Executive Director of the Anti-Glossophobia Academy, championing the importance of effective communication and empowering individuals, especially youths, to overcome the fear of public speaking.
Tenneh Kargbo
Communications Co-Coordinator
Tenneh Kargbo is a Journalist who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024. She is passionate about issues affecting girls, women, youths, and children in vulnerable and deprived communities. She started her advocacy journey at 16 as a child Reporter and scriptwriter for Kids’ Radio Network. Tenneh is the current Host and Lead Presenter for the program “Focus on Children” on Kids Radio Network 102.9 FM. She is pursuing her studies at the Mass Communications Department, Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
Mary Dora Kamara
Policy, Research and Advocacy Team Lead
Mary Dora Kamara is a Geologist who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024. She is an Environmental Geologist, and Renewable Energy & Green Hydrogen Technology Professional. She is devoted to addressing the current effects of climate change in the environment through advocacy and educating young people and women. Through research, experimental work, and data analytics, Mary aspires to contribute immensely to the development of sustainable techniques to optimize the use of renewable technologies to help reduce the carbon emissions in our environment for a sustainable world with clean energy access.
Henrietta Marie Foray Esq.
Programs Team Lead
Henrietta Marie Foray Esq. is a Lawyer who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024. She is a Pupil Barrister and Solicitor at O.V. Robin Mason and Partners. She holds a Degree of Utter Barrister from the Sierra Leone Law School and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. Henrietta is a Civil Rights Activist with nine years experience advocating for the human rights of children, women and young people in Sierra Leone. She is also committed to researching and advocating for policy reforms and implementation that will empower girls and young women and help create a more equal and just society for everyone.
Naomi Jeneba Mustapha
Program Coordinator
Naomi Jeneba Mustapha is a Gender Equality and Child Protection Advocate who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2022. She is a passionate and hardworking youth activist who started as a child activist. She has over seven years of experience in activism for girls’ and women’s empowerment in Sierra Leone. She is currently pursuing her BSc. in Applied Accounting at the Institute of Public Administration and Management Sierra Leone. Naomi also volunteers as a finance officer at Transformative Women’s Initiative, a community-based organization that promotes female empowerment in Sierra Leone. She is committed to creating inspiring platforms for young Sierra Leonean females.
Kadijatu Shunem Barrie
Programs Co-Coordinator
Kadijatu Shunem Barrie is a Gender Practitioner who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2021. She is a feminist and civil rights activist with 9+ years of experience advocating for the human rights of children, women and young people in Sierra Leone. She holds a BSc. in Accounting and Finance and she is currently studying Gender Research and Development Studies at the University of Sierra Leone (Fourah Bay College). She is the President of the Western Africa Caucus for The Amazon Leadership Initiative. Over these years, she has been part of major advocacy campaigns.
Bintu Esther Lamin
Financial Planning, Analysis and Procurement Team Lead
Bintu Esther Lamin is a Finance, Gender and Human Resources Practitioner who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024. She holds a BSc. Honors in Business Administration and serves as the People Operations Associate for PowerGen Renewable Energy. She is also the Executive Director of the Transformative Women’s Initiative, passionately advocating for women’s and girls’ rights. Bintu is dedicated to creating a world where girls receive fair treatment and ample opportunities, reflecting her deep commitment to gender equality and empowerment. Her leadership roles underscore her drive to foster transformative change in society.

Ashabi Aminu is a Banker who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024.
Rosaline Judy
Outreach and Partnership Team Lead
Rosaline Judy is a Communications and Gender Practitioner who has been working with Strong Girls Evolution for five years. She is a Linguist and also a Law Student at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. Judy is a SMART advocate and champion for sexual reproductive health and rights. She is passionate about advocacy, women’s rights, empowerment and access to sexual and reproductive rights and family planning services for women and girls.
Yeanor Esther Kabia
Outreach and Partnership Co-Team Lead
Yeanor Esther Kabia is a Journalist who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024. She started her journalism career at Culture Radio in Freetown and is currently a reporter, presenter, and producer at Radio Democracy 98.1 FM. This media institution strives to raise public awareness about governance, democracy, human rights, the rule of law, and issues in Sierra Leone. At Strong Girls Evolution, she raises awareness about gender equality and equity, leadership, career development, skills building, and other areas.

Eugenia Alphinia Rogers is a Sustainability Practitioner who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024.
Margaret Ndanema
Development and Sustainability Coordinator
Margaret Ndanema is an Award-Winning Artist who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024. She is also a final-year student studying Accounting and Finance. As a music artist, Margaret is dedicated to bringing joy and encouragement to all. At Strong Girls Evolution, she contributes to a lifelong mission of supporting women and girls.
Sarifina Easmon Esq.
Evaluation Team Lead
Sarifina Easmon Esq. is a Lawyer who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024. She is a dedicated legal professional and human rights advocate with extensive experience in legal research and litigation. Her background includes advocating for clients in various legal matters and providing comprehensive support to seniors and clients throughout the legal process. Sarifina enjoys attending church and participating in her book club. These spaces allow her to express her creativity, have fun, and find balance in life. She is committed to promoting gender equality and helping women reach their full potential.

Lucy Aoko is a Marketing Practitioner who joined Strong Girls Evolution in 2024. She is a Customer Experience Executive dedicated to delivering outstanding service and leveraging evolving technology to enhance client satisfaction. Lucy works on empowering young women to reach their full potential. Passionate about advocating for women and children, she strives to catalyze change, championing their rights and well-being.
